About Us

Digital Asset Global Advisors (DAGA) is an independent advisory firm helping corporate treasuries, banks, asset managers, RIAs, and boards evaluate, adopt, and manage digital asset initiatives.

We work at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. Most advisors in this field come from one side or the other. We have operated at a senior level in both, running global markets businesses across the world’s largest banks and serving on executive committees at leading digital asset firms.

Robert Valdes-Rodriguez | CEO

Robert brings 35 years of global financial markets experience to DAGA. He has led FX, Derivatives and Emerging Markets trading businesses across 70 countries at some of the world’s largest banks, including ABN AMRO, UBS, Scotiabank, and Credit Agricole.

He began investing personally in Bitcoin in 2019, a conviction shaped by three decades of watching how global financial infrastructure works and where its friction points lie. He then spent five years operating inside the digital asset industry as an executive committee member at two leading firms: Global Head of Sales at Abra, and Chief Commercial Officer at Keyrock.
